I’m Jonathan Ellis, owner of Aardvark Inspection Services. After a decades-long career as a Science and Engineering Consultant, I decided it was time to get out from in front of a computer every day (as well from the cold and snowy New England weather). I moved to Southeast Florida in the Fall of 2018, and took ownership of a gym, following my passion for physical fitness. Unfortunately, in the wake of Covid-19, I had to sell the gym. As ‘retiring’ wasn’t in my nature, I started thinking about what’s next. With an engineer’s eye for detail, a scientist’s innate curiosity, and the knowledge and experience of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues that came from renovating several older homes, applying these capabilities as a Home Inspector was a natural fit. I am a licensed Florida Home Inspector and, as a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI®), I have successfully passed the rigorous InterNACHI Inspector Exam and strictly adhere to their established Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. With a commitment to maintaining the highest level of integrity and professionalism, I continuously enhance my expertise through yearly courses and ongoing education to ensure top-quality service.
